Create Your First AI Agent

If you have already logged in, this guide will walk you through how to properly create your first generative AI agent to help you get the right answers at the right time.

If you have already select the right topic and prepared your training data go to Kaila agents module in the left side menu in Kaila Studio and follow these steps:

Click on ¨Create agent¨ button or use ¨+¨ button in the upper right corner
Write the name of your new agent (chat bot)
Insert prepared dataset with correct formatting
Hit the ¨Train¨ button in the upper right corner
When the training is done you can acces your agent by clicking on ¨Test Agent¨ button

1. Create Kaila Agent

Now you will see list of your existing Kaila Agents. If you don’t have any Kaila Agent yet, please click on the “Plus” button situated in the right top corner or click to “Create Item” button.

2. Setup Kaila Agent

In this step you will see two editable fields: “Name of Kaila Agent” and “Text”. So, get a name of your agent by filling field “Name of Kaila Agent” and please remember: do not use special characters like ž,č,ř,![] etc. your agent will not work.

And this is the most important field: “Text” field. In this field you will paste your knowledge text. If you don’t know what is knowledge text or data please follow this link. Text data should be without any formatting like headings, links, bold or italic weights. To achieve best Kaila outputs to your questions, insert data as plain text.

For our case we will use processed and parsed user manual for Skoda Enyaq which is taken from PDF. As you can see on the picture below, we don’t have any formatting in our text. However, you don’t have to worry about whether the text is in its entirety or formatted into blocks or individual sentences. Kaila can handle text formatted in this way. The length or size of the text is not limited in any way.

3. Training Kaila Agent

Since we have our name of Kaila Agent and we also pasted right text data for training, we’re going to do the magic. Sorry! We’re going to train our first Kaila Agent. You will do this by clicking on the “Train” button situated in the right top corner.

Now sit back and wait approximately 60s (in cases of really large datasets training can take up to several minutes). When training is done the button “Test Agent” will switch to active state.

And thats it! We’re ready to go and test your first Kaila Agent!

4. Test & Evaluate

When the “Test Agent” button becomes active, click on it. A new window will open in your browser and you will see a test environment with a text box where you can enter your questions. So there is nothing easier than to start wrestling your new Agent and see how his training went.

What to do when Kaila asks inaccurate or nonsensical questions? At this point, the training data most likely needs to be edited or completed because the data is missing facts or the context you are asking about. Therefore, in this case, go back to the study and try to think how you can adjust the text data so that Kaila will be better and more accurate in answering your questions next time.
